Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to learn more about shamanism, my deepest passion in life. I came to this passion via a rather circuitous route.  I was born and raised in a very typical, middle class environment in the United States.  I spent my twenties and early thirties pursuing the American dream and having a very successful career in a major advertising agency in New York City.  In my mid-thirties I made a decision to leave my homeland, move to Switzerland, marry my Swiss fiancé and raise a family.  This decision would have far greater effects than I anticipated: it precipitated a spiritual crisis and a subsequent spiritual journey that led me, twelve years later, to shamanism. This path proved to be so fascinating and fulfilling that in 2001 I decided to make it my life’s work.

My training included programs both here in Switzerland and in England.  In 2005 it intensified considerably when I entered Sandra Ingerman’s teacher training course. Sandra is a leading shamanic practitioner in America and is well known for her ground-breaking work in soul retrieval. She is the author of “Soul Retrieval, Mending the Fragmented Self” and “Shamanic Journeying, A Beginner’s Guide”, among other classic books in the field of shamanism.

I have also trained extensively under Simon Buxton, founder and director of The Sacred Trust in England.  This training encompasses both traditional shamanic practices and the unique Path of Pollen work, which Simon introduced to the public in his book “The Shamanic Way of the Bee”. My training in the ancient shamanic teachings of the “Melissae” is ongoing.

As with any healing practice, mine carries strengths that stem from my personal healing history. I am particularly familiar and adept with issues around shame, (particularly sexual shame), addiction, guilt and anything to do with poverty-consciousness or lack of abundance in one’s life

I bring to my work an unshakeable belief in the ultimate wisdom of the heart, the overriding power of forgiveness to heal, our innate desire to walk in beauty, peace and harmony with each other and the earth, and our intense yearning to be whole and at one with Spirit.
